Born in September 1972, Caleb Ayiku as a child dreamt of being a medical doctor. Realizing in secondary school that he was not good at biology he chose to write math in his A Levels eventually majored in Chemical Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His father who was an engineer influenced his choice. After graduating from the University in 1997, he started his career with Shell Ghana Limited as a Lubricants Planning Executive. He moved to Engen Ghana limited a few years later to try his hands at building businesses. Engen Ghana had just been incorporated. He rose to the position of Managing Director of Engen Ghana Limited in 2002. He was prevailed upon to deliver a speech by one of his mentors at a two-day program which was partly sponsored by his company His speech at Eagles Camp in Ghana in 2006 became the theme for his first book, “A Dance with Success”. He has since authored four self-help books and plans to write more books in the coming years.
Caleb is the former Managing Director for Engen Tanzania Limited and Engen Kenya Limited. He was once the Country Director for Herbalife Ghana Limited. He is the founder of the renowned management consultancy, Breakthrough Consult and a co-founder of the Camarie Group.
He has two lovely daughters and is married to Nana Pokuaa. He has interest in health and fitness, writing, motivational speaking, entrepreneurship and business management.
When Caleb is not writing, he is either writing a business plan, teaching young people or relaxing with his family.
